Hands, a passion, a workshop
L'Atelier des Mains was born in Lausanne from a simple wish: to create, by hand, objects that bring a little softness to everyday life.
Originally from Brazil, I've been passionate about craftsmanship since I was little. Crochet and macramé were my first loves — hours spent creating with my hands, thread after thread, knot after knot.
Once settled in Switzerland, I wanted to go further and specialise in making artisan soaps and candles. That's how L'Atelier des Mains was born: the decision to create a range of 100% natural products, made with the same patience and care as my first crochet creations.
Every candle is poured by hand, every soap is shaped with care. Nothing is mass-produced: the shapes, colours and fragrances are chosen thoughtfully, so that each creation is unique — just like the hands that made it.
The name "L'Atelier des Mains" (The Workshop of Hands) says it all: a creative space where everything starts with the hands, the gesture, and the passion for craftsmanship that has driven me for as long as I can remember.
